The 2015 Tournament Directors Association Summit has abruptly relocated from the Venetian to the Aria following a public backlash.

Critics argued that the June 26-27 event should not take place on a property owned by Sheldon Adelson, the casino billionaire and GOP mega donor looking to ban online poker.  Renowned tournament director Matt Savage agreed and this past weekend announced the new venue.

Adelson is believed to have drafted legislation currently under consideration in both the House and Senate that would essentially restore a 1960’s Wire Act, which today is only applied to illegal sports wagering.
