The Golden State Warriors begin a four-game road trip on Friday in Atlanta and that doesn’t sound so bad. What is amazing though is that after the trip is over they get to play one game at home and then head out on a six-game road trip. That means they will play 10 of their next 11 games on the road. They won’t have a homestand of any length until next month. The Warriors have been a decent road team winning 15 of their first 21 and they went 12-9 against the spread. The team leads the league in scoring at over 110 points per game. They allow about 100 points per contest but yet they have not been a great team to bet over the total with 23 games going over and 22 going under.
Amazing Run for the Atlanta Hawks
The run of wins for the Atlanta Hawks has simply been amazing. The team started this week having won 19 straight. Oddsmakers finally started to adjust the pointspread so the Hawks long streak of covering the spread ended and they started this week having lost three of four against the NBA betting lines. The team is averaging 103 points per game and allowing just 96 per contest. The Hawks have been a tough team to predict on totals at home with 13 games going over and 13 going under.
