Super Bowl 49 Simulation Picks: Ran Matchup 50000 Times

Want to know which team is going to win Super Bowl 49?  The Predictalator on PredictionMachine.com ran 50,000 simulations and 57.5 percent of the time in its simulations had the Seattle Seahawks beating the New England Patriots.

Most of the online sportsbooks and those in Las Vegas had New England as either a -1 favorite or the game as a PICK’EMNevertheless, the simulator has the Seahawks most likely winning by four points with a final score of 24-20 (see scoring prop bets here).

According to the folks who run the Predictalator, the Seahawks are “simply, the team more capable of dominating.”

“For the second straight year in a row, we like Seattle when the vast majority of the public – over 70 percent based on available betting information – believes the AFC is going to win. Much of that perception is likely based off of what happened during conference championship weekend,” Paul Bessire, general manager of PredictionMachine.com told Shutdown Corner.

Hundreds of Super Bowl betting props are being offered by BetDSI.com here.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
