Line Movements – The Colts-Patriots spread opened at -7 New England but has quickly moved down to -6.5.  Some books have touched the -6 briefly.  More than 90% of books were offering the -6.5 line as of Thursday afternoon.

Betting Action – This could prove interesting where Gambling911.com is concerned.  We are 20-5 with our NFL picks since Week 7 of the regular season and are currently mulling over a potential play on the Colts (not official yet so stay tuned).  The reason this play looks appealing is that the oddsmakers have moved the line down to -6 despite New England seeing more than 65% of the betting action.  One would think the oddsmakers would be trying to get more action on the Colts if they truly believed (like most bettors obviously) that the Patriots were going to cover here.

Head-to-Head – The home team has won 6 of the last 7 in this series.  New England has won the last five games in this series dating back to 2010.  All three of the more recent games were absolute blowouts.
