The Lions looked done last week as they trailed the Saints by 13 points in the fourth quarter but they got a late TD and a Saints turnover and ended up pulling out a 24-23 win. And they did it without top wide receiver Calvin Johnson who was out due to injury. The team is finding ways to win this season under head coach Jim Caldwell. The offense is not doing much as they average about 20 points per game but the defense has been excellent, ranking 2nd in the league. Defensive end George Johnson is excited to play in London, having played in the game with the Bucs in 2011 and with the Vikings last year. "The game felt like the Super Bowl," Johnson said. "From what I was told by my wife, the fans don't really understand the game that much, but they just love it. They get into it the whole game, yelling and screaming. They don't mind who they're rooting for. They just love the game."
Atlanta Falcons 2-5 SU, 2-5 ATS
The wheels have come off for the Atlanta Falcons as they have dropped four straight to fall to 2-5. This game on Sunday is likely to save their season as they are not going to recover if they fall to 2-6. The offense has completely gone missing as they have scored 20, 13 and 7 points in the last three weeks. And that is simply not going to do it when the defense isn’t any good.
