The hall's governing council announced Thursday that the induction will be at Binion's Gambling Hall on Nov. 9, one day prior to the start of the World Series of Poker final table.

Negreanu, known as "Kid Poker," has nearly $30 million in lifetime poker winnings.

He joins Chip Reese as the only members inducted at the threshold age of 40.

McClelland directed the World Series of Poker in the 1980s and ran the Bellagio poker room from 2002 to 2013.
