The Colts-Texans betting line had Houston as a +2.5 home underdog with the line trending downwards heading into Thursday’s big game. This one opened at +3.
There was just shy of 90% of the action on Indianapolis here yet Bookmaker.eu opted to move the line in favor of Indy for the past two days before landing back on -3. This suggests the bookmakers are confident that Houston will cover here. The books had a solid showing this past weekend with both College and NFL.
Both teams come into this one 3-2 Straight Up and 4-1 Against The Spread. Whichever team ends up winning in Week 6 will lead the AFC South.
Indy has won four of the last five in this series Straight Up and are 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 Thursday games. That said, the home team is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings and this bodes well for Houston.
