The Giants ranked number 28th on offense last season and that is pretty awful. They didn’t exactly look like gangbusters in the preseason either.
Manning threw a career-high 27 interceptions last season and he looks as lost as ever in this new offense.
''Don't get me wrong, we're ready for Week 1,'' Manning said. ''But I think as a season goes on, you're always looking to improve, whether you've been in a system for 10 years or whether you have young guys and need guys to step up or you have new players, there's always room for improvement."
Detroit also had problems on offense last season. Unlike the Giants though, Detroit should improve with the likes of Jim Caldwell coaching and starting quarterback Matthew Stafford throwing to Calvin Johnson and handing it to Reggie Bush.
