2014 New England Patriots Super Bowl Odds: 7-1

2014 Season Win Total: 10.5 (over-170)

2014 New England Patriots Offense: It was not a typical Tom Brady season a year ago as he finished with a QB rating of 87.3. Part of the problem was that Brady didn’t have many weapons to throw to as Rob Gronkowksi was hurt and Wes Welker went to Denver. The team did add Brandon LaFell in the offseason and Gronkowski is expected to be ready for Week 1. The running game is solid with Shane Vereen and Steven Ridley and the offensive line is good.

2014 New England Patriots Defense: The New England Patriots defense was much better last year but they still gave up way too many yards. The team made some big moves in the off-season as they signed cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner. The addition of Revis is huge as now the team can shut down the best receiver of their opponents. It also helps that the team brought back Vince Wilfork to stop the run.
