The odds of Arkansas winning the 2014 National Championship were set at 35-1, which is part of the Field option at BetDSI.com.

There is a reason why Arkansas does not have separate odds of winning the Championship.  Oddsmakers are not even confident the Razorbacks can win 5 regular season games in 2014.  They are priced at -135 OVER 4.5.

BetDSI.com notes that the offense for the team has some serious problems as the team has nothing at the quarterback position. Brandon Allen was awful last year and he is really not suited to run this system. It didn’t help that he was hurt and had no receivers to throw to that had any talent. He might be better this year and the team better hope so as behind him are redshirt freshman Austin Allen and true freshman Rafe Peavey.

As for the defense, the team will have a new defensive coordinator this season in Robb Smith. He will have to get something out of a defense that returns just four starters.

Check out the video preview for this school’s chances in 2014 below.
