Odds of the Baltimore Ravens winning the AFC North in 2014 were set at close to 3/1, longer than that of Pittsburgh and Cincinnati, both of which pay just under 2/1 odds.

This is a Ravens team that is expected to improve in 2014 following a bit of a setback last year on the heels of their Super Bowl victory.

Improvement is one thing but how much is another when we are talking about such a competitive division.

BetDSI.com has your preview betting video below.

2014 Baltimore Ravens Offense: The Baltimore Ravens were really poor on offense as year ago as they couldn’t run the ball and quarterback Joe Flacco was nothing special. The team actually scored 19 points or less in half of their games. Running back Ray Rice looked nothing like the back he used to be as his average yards per carry dropped to 3.1. If Rice doesn’t get back to form or if the team doesn’t get something from Bernard Pierce then they are in trouble this season. The offensive line could be improved with the addition of Jeremy Zuttah so perhaps the running game will be better. The team also added wide receiver Steve Smith so hopefully he can open up the field a bit for Torrey Smith.

2014 Baltimore Ravens Defense: The Baltimore Ravens defense was actually pretty good last season considering how bad the offense was. The addition of Daryl Smith was an excellent one as he filled in nicely in Ray Lewis’ spot. The team took linebacker C.J. Mosley and if they can keep him healthy he will be a big upgrade over Jameel McClain. The team also added Elvis Dumervil to pair up with Terrell Suggs. The secondary is good but not very deep as they lost Corey Graham in free agency.
