The commonwealth of Kentucky and its attorneys refuse to go down without a fight.  On Wednesday, they filed a Motion for Leave to File Brief Exceeding Page Limitations.

In a nutshell, they are claiming that more pages are needed for their complaint (80) than the 50 page limit imposed by civil rules.

Joe Brennan, Jr. who heads up the Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association (imega.org) was a bit baffled by the request.

"The Commonwealth's attorneys are entitled to make this request, but they're wrong if they believe substituting volume for reason will carry the argument," he told Gambling911.com.

"So far, their argument has boiled down to "a domain is a gambling device, and these are very bad people who have no right to be represented in court". How many more pages do they need to say that?"
