’Girls Gone Wild’ Founder Joe Francis Slapped With $5k Daily Fine

The founder of the raucous and salacious DVD franchise “Girls Gone Wild” has been ordered to pay a $5000 fine each day he fails to return two luxury automobiles.

Joe Francis claims he no longer has the vehicles and that they were taken by an angry Mexican businessman.

Francis also claims to no longer have enough assets to offer casino owner Steve Wynn, the later of whom was awarded a $7.5 million judgment in a defamation case against the “Girls Gone Wild” founder.

Francis reportedly sold his DVD franchise as a means of avoiding having to pay Wynn back for debts accumulated at the gaming mogul's self-named casino resort.

The fines have already begun piling up as of this past Friday with Francis’ failure to return both a 2007 Cadillac Escalade and a 2012 Bentley Flying Spur.

Francis is said to be appealing the sanctions.

Judge Sandra Klein set a July 31 hearing to see whether the cars have been returned.
