NFL Draft Betting Odds: Number of Quarterbacks to be Selected in 1st Round

Oddsmakers at BetDSI.com believe there will be OVER 3 quarterbacks selected in the 1^st round of the 2014 NFL Draft. They were offering a -175 price on the OVER 3.5 and will pay $14.50 for every $10 bet on the UNDER.

It’s almost a given that Johnny Manziel will be chosen in the first round. Beyond that point, it’s anyone’s guess.

Kansas City disclosed this week that contract negotiations with Alex Smith are not going smoothly and they could be among the teams picking a quarterback in the 1^st round. Smith will be a free agent after next season.

Other teams desperate for a starting quarterback include Houston, Jacksonville, Cleveland and Oakland along with possibly St. Louis.

Jadeveon Clowney, Khalil Mack and Blake Bortels could all be selected during the first round.
