22-year-old “Full Metal Havok More Sexy N Intelligent Than Spock And All The Superheroes Combined With Frostnova” has had his name change approved by the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs upon attempting to renew his passport.
Frostnova, for short, lost a prop bet five years ago.
New Zealand officials last week determined the name change met its criteria since it is made up of 99 characters, one short of the 100 that would have been met with rejection.
Department of Internal Affairs Births Deaths and Marriages spokesman Michael Mead confirmed last Monday that the name was registered in March 2010, according to The New Zealand Herald.
New Zealand rules state names can be rejected if they are offensive, too long, or without adequate justification include, resemble an official title or rank or include numbers or symbols cannot be included.
