The 2014 NBA All Star Weekend takes place the weekend of February 14.

Favorites to win each event include Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors to win the Three-Point Contest at 5-2. 

Damian Lillard of the Portland Blazers was a 3-1 odds favorite to win the Skills Contest.

Terrance Ross was a big 201 favorite to win the popular Slam Dunk Contest.

Former Cleveland Cavalier Damon Jones is expected to plead guilty in a federal court after being charged with giving inside information about National Basketball Association player injuries.  He requested a change-of-plea hearing that has been scheduled for April 28. The actual indictment was broader in scope.
