Bookmaker has released betting odds on the 2014 Winter Olympics with several options on Ice Hockey.
While Canada and Russia were the co-favorites to win in Ice Hockey at Sochi, it shouldn’t surprise many that Team USA was seeing 45% of the public backing. That’s because Bookmaker’s customer base is heavily made up of Americans dating back to 1986 when they first established their business.
This also applies to Group A where Russia is the favorite but Team USA is seeing nearly double the action.
It’s interesting to note that, despite the heavy action skewed in favor of the US, Bookmaker was actually offering slightly better odds on Team USA than its European counterparts (they were 7/1 across the board).
