Denver Broncos starting quarterback Peyton Manning was an odds-on favorite at +120.  This is a decent number considering some books were requiring a higher risk vs. reward ratio.  Here you can bet $10 to win $12, and if Denver does win Super Bowl 48 as they are favored to do, it’s almost certain Manning will be named Most Valuable Player.

With the Seattle Seahawks, there isn’t that guarantee quarterback Russell Wilson will be named Super Bowl MVP.  The Seahawks have bigger name players such as Marshawn Lynch at 4/1 odds, Percy Harvin at 20/1 and Richard Sherman at 25/1.

The quarterback has been named MVP in the last four Super Bowls and six of the last seven.

It’s interesting to note that the wide receiver was named MVP in both of the Pittsburgh Steelers wins in the past decade, not quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
