New England was hoping for a San Diego win against Denver Sunday so that they could have home field advantage.  Instead, they must travel to the Mile High City.

The Pats dismantled the Colts Saturday with a final score of 43-22.

LeGarrette Blount finished with 166 yards and 4 touchdown runs in his 1st career playoff game. That is more yards, and twice as many touchdowns as he had with the Buccaneers in 13 games last season. With his 189 rush yards in Week 17, Blount is averaging 177.5 rush yards per game in his last 2 contests.  He is the first player since Chris Johnson in 2009 (Weeks 8-10) to have at least 2 rush TD in 3 straight games (including postseason).

Tom Brady led the Patriots to a big win Saturday, as the team scored 43 points against the Indianapolis Colts.  Brady completed 13 of 25 passes for 198 yards and no touchdowns. Brady's 75.1 Total QBR is the highest postseason single game Total QBR since 2006 by any quarterback who failed to throw a touchdown pass; Brady also holds the fifth-best Total QBR in a similar game.

The Patriots scored 43 points without throwing a TD pass, the 3rd-highest point total without a TD pass in NFL playoff history.

Denver dominated against San Diego but had a close call in the 4th quarter with San Diego managing to score 17 points, bringing this game to 24-17 before it was all over.
