Arizona is coming off a bye week, which is definitely a good thing. They are on a streak that is favoring them this time around, and they are going to most likely going to make an easy game of this one, if the Texans play with a slow start like they did in the past few starts. Houston did have the Colts struggling on Sunday and will most likely do the same here at first, but the Cardinals will come back aggressive, especially after the week off and will most likely be able to capitalize on the mistakes that the Houston team will in fact bring through the fourth quarter.
Arizona needs to take advantage of the turnovers and different issues that will most likely show up. Arizona can make the Texans pay with ease, if they are going to bring out the heavy lumber that the Colts brought to win their game against Houston. Houston has a tendency to let go of wins, so the Cardinals will need to make sure that they are focusing on the long game and not necessarily the short one.
The Match Up:
Let’s not forget that Houston has the league’s top ranked defense on their side, at least for the passing game. Carson Palmer will have to bring out a lot of weapons on offense and not just rely on old tricks. Houston has a way of making quarterbacks pay. While the Texans aren’t good at defending the run, they are good enough to stop Arizona, if they don’t misstep like they have in the past. Look for injuries to plague the Texans in the stretch here, and cost them a crucial game. The Houston Texas will fall to the Cardinals, and though it may be an interesting game, it will be an Arizona win this time around with an edge of – 2.
