Chargers were not able to beat down the Redskins like they wanted to, and will most likely have to face this team head on with a lot of pressure and a lot of offensive weaponry that they may not be used to utilizing. The Chargers Philip Rivers will have his work cut out for them as the Broncos have been showing some resurgence on the ball with the secondary getting a bit better overall. Then of course you have Peyton Manning, and his fast paced style. Even though Manning is looking tired in the long game, he still seems to have enough to throw things around, with a lot of short passes, fast plays, and quick reads that the Chargers will definitely screw up defending at various times during this game.
The Chargers haven’t allowed a whole lot of action in the red zone, and a streak of 12 games was broken during the last meeting they had with the Redskins. It’s this sort of issue that is causing a little bit of worry on the sidelines for the San Diego team. That defensive struggle may in fact be something to look at, as the Broncos have been stunned lately early on with certain key defenses fighting them back from racking up too many points on the scoreboard.

The Chargers are sixth overall total offense and will definitely be a good challenge for the Broncos, at least on paper. The Broncos and Peyton Manning are doing something interesting in Denver and the Chargers are a solid opponent, just not one that is going to be able to do the impossible. Matching up the San Diego Chargers and the Colts, you will see that the Broncos will have a bit easier of a time here than they did against Indianapolis, which is definitely worth nothing overall. The Broncos are going to win this one, but not without struggle and therefore the score could end up being less than what you’ve seen in the past.
