2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champ Jonathan Duhamel is preparing to take on fellow Full Tilt Poker sponsored female pro Danielle Andersen in Canadian Football League drills at the Alouettes practice field.
It certainly wouldn’t be the first time Canadian Duhamel has been tackled and beaten by a woman.
In December 2011, Duhamel’s ex-girlfriend, Bianca Rojas-Latraverse, orchestrated a brazen break-in and robbery of the poker pro’s suburban Montreal home. She and three others were charged with beating Duhamel, tying him up, and stealing more than $100,000 in cash from a safe along with some of his most prized possessions.
Rojas-Latraverse is currently serving a 3.5 year prison sentence.
Thankfully for Duhamel, Andersen has no intention of inflicting harm even if Canadian Football is considered one of the most brutal contact sports.
The two are taking part in what is being billed as a “fun sports challenge” before hitting the felt for the Full Tilt Poker sponsored Montreal Festival Main Event.
