The Chiefs are another team that many didn’t see starting off at 4 – 0 and yet they have done that, and are headed into week 5 against the Tennessee Titans, and it may not be a great game for some. There are some potential match ups here that you may want to look out for, and of course, even with a team that is doing well, one false move and they can be at a loss.

The Chiefs were able to knock down several teams a peg, including the terrible Giants. They are undefeated so far, and will be facing a team that is quite good, at least they seemed that way last week. Even if Jake Locker can’t play, there are going to be some interesting points to look out for. That’s not to say that the Titans have a great deal of power, but they do have some weapons that the Chiefs will not want to overlook. It’s when teams put their guard down that some others get the better of them.
Alex Smith is going to have to do better than he did last week, and that’s one of the biggest caveats that should be understood right away. The Chiefs will need to do something to ensure that the Titans defense doesn’t come away with interceptions. If they do, look for special teams to add icing on the cake and run away with it. The Chiefs have to protect the quarterback but at the same time, watch out for those easy picks.
The Titans will need to play a very controlled game, one that will have them doing the impossible in controlling several key players for the Chiefs. If they can manage to somehow go hard on defense, the offense may have a chance of scoring against a weakened Kansas City team.
The Match Up:
Analysts are reminding everyone that the Kansas City team is the same team that somehow mustered up 2 – 14 last season. They are going to possibly be set for a fall this time. The Tennessee Titans did put a hurting on the Jets, and that alone is going to be interesting. Ryan Fitzpatrick will take over at QB and could turn around an ailing team in this one, which is definitely going to be fun to watch. Even with all that, we’re going with Kansas City – 3 on this one, it just makes sense.
