All the hope that could’ve gone to the Tampa Bay team last week is once again down and out again, as they are going to be facing an Arizona Cardinals team that has a lot going for them. At press time, there isn’t an analyst that is giving the Buccaneers much of a chance right now going into Sunday’s game. Their coach, Greg Schiano is not exactly getting a lot of praise for his work, and rightfully so, the Tampa Bay team is looking exceptionally weak right now.

Meanwhile the Cardinals aren’t looking amazing as they got crushed by the New Orleans Saints. That alone is not enough of a highlight to allow the game to be a shocker in this one. Simply put, it’s time to let the Buccaneers out of any playoff birth at this point, and no one would disagree. The Arizona team is just better, at least that’s what it Iooks like right now. Even with some injuries and some bad plays in the last couple of weeks, they just seem to have something going for them that is going to get them over their mishaps from the past.
Josh Freeman is the wild card here, and that’s something that is going to make or break this team. You’ll want to watch out for what happens in this one as there are a lot of ways this can go. Why? Because he’s going to be on the bench and Mike Glennon is going to take over, so perhaps there may be hope after all. However, don’t expect Freeman not to get into the game as we’ve seen this sort of change in the past only result in a call back for the starter.
The Match Up:
The match up is not even, Carson Palmer will rely on a lot of weapons in the field, and Mike Glennon will be trying to earn his way to a better spot on the team. The likelihood that the Tampa Bay offense and defense put up a good game is not going to deter the pick this week, and that’s going to Arizona. Even though the Buccaneers are favored right now, we’ll see Arizona take them out at +2 ½.
