Milwaukee Brewers vs. St. Louis Cardinals OVER 8 – Brewers RH Wily Peralta (9-14, 4.51 ERA) vs. Cardinals RH Shelby Miller (12-9, 3.19)

8 of the last 10 in this series have gone OVER the current total.

Here we have a situation where the Cardinals have been hitting especially well in recent games.

Peralta won for only the second time in his last nine starts when he beat Pittsburgh on Wednesday.  He is 0-2 when starting against St. Louis with an ERA of 11.58 and a WHIP of 2.680.  St. Louis is 10-3  against Milwaukee this season.  In their last six losses, Milwaukee allowed 5 or more runs in five of those games.  The one other game they permitted four runs.
