New Jersey has set a tentative date for permitting legalized real money online gambling for November 23.  Whether sites are ready to begin taking customers by that time remains to be seen though Atlantic City’s Borgata Casino has actively been hiring for its online gambling arm in recent weeks.

Nevada was the first state to legalize real money online poker earlier in the year, but to date, only one company, Ultimate Poker, has begun accepting real money players.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie signed a bill into law permitting Atlantic City’s casinos to partner with existing Web gambling companies to begin offering real money Internet gambling within that state’s borders.
