As Gambling911.com reported Monday morning, Florida State was seeing 90 percent of the public backing coming into the evening’s game against Houston.  The Seminoles made a statement with a 41-13 win.

“This was the lone Monday night game and bettors overwhelmingly loved FSU,” noted Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

ESPN.com noted that Jameis Winston took a strong first step in delivering upon his considerable hype. The redshirt freshman dazzled in his debut.

Don Best TV had correctly predicted that Winston would help carry FSU to great success this season and, early on, it appears they might be right.

He was as close to perfect as is possible, completing 25-of-27 passes for 356 yards and five total touchdowns.

The books got hit hard Saturday with Alabama and LSU both covering in their respective games.
