Oakland Raiders Prediction – 2013: 18 to 1 Odds of Winning the AFC West

Gambling911.com has your Oakland Raiders prediction for 2013 and it ain’t pretty.  But then again, there are plenty of Raiders fans out there and, if you’re gonna bet anything, do the AFC West at 18/1 odds.  The payout would be an amazing $1800 for every $100 bet.

Odds to Win the Super Bowl (2014): 250/1
Odds to Win the AFC West: 18/1
Regular Season Win Total:  OVER 5.5 +130/UNDER 5.5 -160

 

Now of course this division is going to be owned by Denver, at least that’s what the oddsmakers believe. Still, stranger things have happened.

The Raiders problem is that they got rid of nearly all their players during the offseason.

Hayden, OT Menelik Watson, QB Tyler Wilson; lost QB Carson Palmer, RB Mike Goodson, WR Darrius Heyward-Bey, TE Brandon Myers, G Cooper Carlisle, DE Matt Shaughnessy, DT Richard Seymour, DT Desmond Bryant, DT Tommy Kelly, OLB Phillip Wheeler, LB Rolando McClain, S Michael Huff, S Matt Giordano; hired OC Greg Olson, DC Jason Tarver.

The good news for Raiders fans is that this team looks better than last year’s squad that finished 4-12.  The bad news is that it will likely take more than a season for this new look Oakland team to gel.

We actually believe there could be some value with Oakland winning OVER 5.5 regular season games with a $13 payout for every $10 bet.

No value with the UNDER at that -160 price tag however.
