Cleveland has long been the red-headed step child in a division that includes the Pittsburgh Steelers and reigning Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.  The Cincinnati Bengals have, at times, emerged as a contender in this division, including last season.

This year’s Ravens team will have lost some critical pieces while Pittsburgh may enter the season with a number of questions, probably at that list: “Are the Steelers going to be healthy?”

The Bengals may or may not be the real deal as they have yet to play consistently good season-after-season.

Cleveland will be playing against the odds as we doubt all three of their rivals are going to fall by the wayside.  Pittsburgh still has a formidable defense after all.

Pundits believe this is the best Browns team we have seen in years as far as the talent pool goes.

QB Brandon Weeden will be under the radar and his team will be playing a relatively soft schedule.

The Browns are a pretty big favorite to win OVER 6 regular season games, which may not seem all that impressive until one notes they have averaged just 4.5 wins during the past 5 seasons.

Cleveland is also seeing a lot of love from sports bettors.  Gambling911.com has observed a spike in traffic coming to the site from those looking for “Cleveland Brown Super Bowl Odds in 2014”.

At 65-1 odds, there is some degree of value here.
