The Broncos odds of winning the 2014 Super Bowl were at 6/1 at Sportsbook.com.  They were the odds-on favorites and the value is certainly quite good.

Jeffri Chadhia of ESPN.com:

If this year's defense can come anywhere close to what it was in 2012 -- and Miller will have plenty to do with that happening -- the Broncos shouldn't have a hard time returning to the playoffs. If they didn't have enough talent, they also have the NFL's easiest schedule coming into the season. Eleven of the 16 games Denver will play are against teams that didn't qualify for last year's postseason. Six of the Broncos' games will come against squads that held the top four picks in this year's draft (Kansas City, Jacksonville, Oakland and Philadelphia).

If you thought Denver was good last year, they should be even better with the addition of Wes Welker.

Chris Burke of Sports Illustrated:

No offense to (Brandon) Stokley, a solid receiver and a player Peyton Manning adores, but guys like Wes Welker don’t just walk in off the street very often. No player in football has more catches than Welker’s 672 since 2007 — a stretch that has seen him top 110 receptions five times. The thought of Welker as the No. 3 receiver on a team stockpiled with Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker will be enough to cause AFC West defensive coordinators nightmares. This is arguably the best WR group in football; at the very least, it’s a top-three unit.

Linebacker Von Miller is facing a four game suspension. This could certainly hurt their chances against Baltimore and the New York Giants during Weeks 1 and 2.
