The NFC West odds for 2013 were all about the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks with both teams listed with slightly better than EVEN odds at SportsBetting.com (+110).

St. Louis had 10/1 odds of winning the 2013 NFC West while Arizona was listed at 20/1 odds.

The 49ers have the toughest starting schedule of any other team in the NFL with games against Green Bay at home, Seattle on the road and Indianapolis at home.  They will host Houston during Week 5.  After Week 5 we should have a good picture of how well San Francisco will fare the remainder of the season.  Eight of their remaining games are against teams that performed under .500 last season, albeit we are counting the Saints among this group and San Francisco will play what should be a much improved New Orleans team on the road come Week 11.

Seattle, on the other hand, lucks out with games against both the Jaguars and Panthers during the first three weeks.  They also host the 49ers, a team they destroyed at home last year.

The Playoffs push could prove tough going for Seattle as they face San Francisco and the Giants on the road (not only are they flying across the coast for this one but the weather may not be great either).  The Seahawks also host New Orleans.  The good news is that they close with games at home against St. Louis and Arizona.
