The wife of 95-year-old Las Vegas casino developer Kirk Kerkorian claims her husband is being held captive by his attorneys.

Kerkorian, who made $2.9 billion through the development of such Vegas landmarks as Caesar's Palace and the MGM Grand, has not been seen for nearly a year.

From News Limited:

Former tennis star, Lisa Bonder Kerkorian, 47, claims the legal advisers managing his company, Tracinda Corp, are holding her ailing former spouse captive and helpless.

The couple famously divorced after an acrimonious split following their 28-day marriage in 1999.

Kerkorian’s wife also claims her husband has been kept from “their” 15-year-old daughter, Kira, for the past five years.  Kerkorian is not the biological father of Kira.  She was actually fathered by Bonder’s ex-boyfriend Steve Bing.

It was previously reported by the New York Post that Bonder may be attempting to squeeze more money out of Kerkorian before his child support obligations run out.

The lawfirm representing Kerkorian issued this statement in regard to Bonder’s claims:

"there are no facts to support Bonder’s claims and therefore no merit whatsoever to the allegations she has made".

Kerkorian has been ranked among Business Week’s Top 50 American Givers and Ms. Bonder should know since she is currently collecting $100,000 a month from him in child support for a daughter who is not even his.
