CakeBet.com, not to be confused with CakePoker.eu/Cake Gaming Whose banner appears below, is one of a handful of new BitCoin online casinos preparing to launch.

Cake Games

While their Twitter account appears to have more than 11,000 followers already, it is obvious by a few of the followers descriptions “Follow Me and I Will Follow You Back” that these aren’t necessarily organically developed “followers” per se.

And why the name “Cake”?

@r_shaq We chose Cakebet because we wanted to make betting as easy as cake :). We are using the Kohana framework.

Unfortunately, someone – specifically Cake Poker/Cake Gaming – already came up with this name for an online casino.

This is equivalent to having someone open an online casino calling it “911Gambling.com” because they wanted to reflect the ease of getting their bets in just as quickly as placing a 911 call.  Alas, we at Gambling911.com might not be too thrilled.

Whether intentional or not, we have no idea.  At the very least, the situation is a bit awkward.

In the early days of online sports betting there were three MVP Sportsbooks (three different variations on the name) operating from within the same building.  Go figure!

CakeBet will join Infinity Poker among the soon-to-launch BitCoin online gambling websites.  The later is operating in Beta stage.
