San Jose, Costa Rica - Americas Cardroom is doing everything it can to put more money in the pockets of its players. The US-friendly online poker site today announced that players can swap 950 Combat Points for $10 in cash. The limited-time offer, which is available until April 2, reduces the minimum 4,500 points requirement for a $50 swap.

"Our low point-swap is perfect for some of our lower-stakes players or new players who want to be able to do something with their Combat Points right now," stated Americas Cardroom spokesman Michael Harris. "It can take some players a bit longer to accumulate 4,500 points, so we want those players to be able to take advantage of our Elite Benefits Store without having to wait too long."

Americas Cardroom's Elite Benefits Store is the online poker site's popular online retail site. To buy an item, poker players can leave their wallets closed. The online poker store accepts Combat Points, the official currency of Elite Benefits. Online poker players at Americas Cardroom automatically earn Combat Points by playing real money online poker, and any poker player who plays real-money online poker is automatically registered in the program.

In addition to swapping points for cash, poker players can swap their points for other things like merchandise branded with the Americas Cardroom logo.

Players can swap their Combat Points for cash through the Americas Cardroom software by clicking the Rewards tab, selecting the Store option, and then choosing Cash Bonuses. The $10 point swap is available until April 2.

The limited time offer comes well in advance of Americas Cardroom's upcoming $200,000 Guaranteed tournament, the online poker room's biggest No Limit Hold'em event for the month of April. The event takes place on April 7, 2013 at 7:00pm ET. The Texas Hold'em tournament with 10,000 starting chips and unlimited re-entries during late registration costs $200+15 to get into.

Full details on the $200k Guaranteed tournament can be found at Americas Cardroom's revamped website AmericasCardroom.eu.
