The Portland Trail Blazers might have to win without guard Brandon Roy on Friday as they host the New Orleans Hornets. Roy missed Tuesday's game against Boston but the Blazers were able to pull out a 91-86 victory anyway.

"It was huge for us," said LaMarcus Aldridge, "He's our go-to guy but guys really stepped up and played good tonight. Today we really had to come together."  Portland is 12-3 at home this season but to continue their strong play they will need similar efforts to the one they got against the Celtics. "We had to step it up a notch," said guard Steve Blake, "But if you're going to win a championship, you're going to have to step it up. We have a lot of talented guys that come to play each night and tonight wasn't any different."
