PokerStars, PartyPoker, 888 and MPN were all among the big gainers this week.  Full Tilt Poker was the only online poker site to see a decline in traffic.

Full Tilt's lead over PartyPoker, recently more than 50 percent, has now fallen to just under 40 percent, according to PokerScout.com

January is typically among the busiest periods of the year when it comes to online poker play.
