"We have played very good defense throughout the year," Gators coach Will Muschamp said of his team's performance in 2011. "Offensively, we have done some nice things. We have to be more consistent in getting the ball down the field vertically, but been real pleased with this team."

Good news for Louisville as their head coach, Charlie Strong, has decided to stay on board after turning down a job offer from Tennessee.

"You look at those jobs, but I have a great job here," said Strong, who shared the Big East coach of the year award with Rutgers' Kyle Flood. "The stability of this program is always going to be solid and they're going to do everything to make this one of the best programs in the country."

The Cardinals come into this game with a 10-2 record while Florida had one loss on the season.  There has been no recent head-to-head history between these two schools.
When playing a team with a winning record, Florida has gone 6-14 Against The Spread over the past three seasons.
The Gators are 7-0 Straight Up as a 10.5 to 21 point favorite over the past three seasons and are 5-2 ATS.
