The Alabama Georgia point spread remained somewhat fluid heading into Saturday with the Vegas odds mostly at Crimson Tide -7.5. 55 percent of the spread betting action was on Georgia and, not surprisingly, this was the single most wagered on College Football game of the weekend.
This is a critical game that will determine which team will face Notre Dame in the BCS Championship. It won’t be easy for Georgia as Alabama enters with the nation's top defense and is looking for its second straight national championship appearance.
Past history does not bode well for Georgia on the betting front as they are just 1-8 both Straight Up and Against The Spread as an underdog in the last three seasons.
