What continues to be a tight race shows signs of trending towards US President Barack Obama as swing state Colorado for the first time in several weeks has the incumbent as a -135 favorite compared to GOP nominee Mitt Romney paying slightly better than EVEN odds.

Colorado is one of the few swing states where Romney has led in early voting, however, most polls show the two candidates in a statistical dead heat.  A recent Survey USA and PPP poll showed Obama starting to move ahead in Colorado with a 2 point and 4 point lead, respectively.

Among the swing states, Romney was still a 1-2 favorite in Florida and nearly a 1-6 favorite in the state of North Carolina, the later of which is no longer being touted as a swing state.

In Virginia, the odds have Romney only slightly favored to Obama at -120 compared to -110.

Ohio odds have improved a bit for Obama, up from -260 to -300 or 1/3.
