The Steelers vs. Giants betting line hasn’t moved much over the last few days despite Hurricane Sandy’s wrath that has left many Giants players without power.  The spread on this game was -3 with 55 percent of the backing going towards Pittsburgh.  Join Bookmaker here now and claim up to $2500 in free bonus money.  Mobile and iPad wagering available.  Use live online chat to have your account open in minutes.

Only some Giants players and coaches said they had power on Wednesday, including head coach Tom Coughlin, Receiver Victor Cruz and Guard Kevin Boothe.

This leaves New York at a terrible disadvantage as noted by Fox Sports:

An NFL player needs to review videotape of upcoming opponents as well as to stay warm and comfortable.

Nighttime temperatures have been dipping into the low 40’s in some spots.  Perishables and gasoline were scarce.  Power might not be fully restored until some time next week.

“It is rather amazing that the oddsmakers have not adjusted the line in this game,” said Gambling911.com sports writer Don Shapiro. “Equally amazing is that gamblers have not been backing Pittsburgh at a higher volume.”

Of greatest concern might be the state of mind of Giants starting quarterback Eli Manning, who was photographed in the flooded lobby of his Hoboken condominium.  That city of around 50,000 was almost entirely flooded by a storm surge late Monday that still hadn’t completely receded by Thursday.  Most residents were trapped in their buildings for two days.  The situation was so direc that the National guard had to be called in.
