NFL Betting Line: Steelers vs. Ravens Middling Alert

The NFL betting line on the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens varied enough that you could bet both sides at two different books (a middling opportunity).

Sportsinteraction.com had the Ravens as -1 ½ favorites where as Bookmaker.com had the Steelers as +3 underdogs.  A win by Baltimore of 2 points will result in both bets being winners as well.

Baltimore does have Pittsburgh's number even as times have been rough for this team while the Steelers have enjoyed much success.  They are 6-4 in the series over the last 10 games.  More interesting, the home team has gone 9-1 in this series, which is one of the main reasons why we here at Gambling911.com love the Ravens as -1 ½ favorites at Sportsinteraction.com.

But the middling opportunity has value in this matchup since these two teams have played close in many of their meetings.  About half the games in this series were won by less than a touchdown.  Baltimore has only been blown away twice by the Steelers in this series over the last 10 games and we don't see this improved Ravens team leading down that path again.

The Steelers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games as a road underdog of 0.5-3.0, but the Ravens are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a home favorite of 0.5-3.0.  So something has to give.

Go with the Ravens as -1 ½ favorites.  If you want to be creative, take the middling opportunity we describe up above.

This -1 ½ line probably will not last so bet if fast.
