Grand jurors reported they are “optimistic that this case will ultimately be solved.”

Oklahoma County prosecutors turned to the state grand jury for help investigating the November 2, 2010 slaying after some witnesses refused to cooperate with police.

The victim was married to Teddy Mitchell, who is alleged to have run an illegal gambling operation from his northwest Oklahoma City home.  He was traveling at the time of his wife’s murder.
