Just one week after introducing CAP tables at low stakes tables in its latest software update, Americas Cardroom has expanded CAP tables to include all limits. CAP tables will be available at low, medium and high-stakes tables, and no software update is needed to access the latest expansion.

"The feedback on CAP tables has been overwhelmingly phenomenal," stated Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. "Our low stakes players can't seem to get enough of CAP tables, and we've had a lot of requests come in from high stakes players too. Today, we're excited to offer CAP tables to players of all stripes."

A CAP table essentially limits how much every player in the hand can bet. Set at 30 times the big blind, the CAP is always the same for each hand, and the same for every player seated at the table. When a player has bet the CAP over the course of the hand, they're considered to be all in.

CAP tables are a huge boon for hardcore grinders. And with The Beast attracting serious grinders to the tables in record numbers, CAP tables promise to make online poker even more exciting. Players can find the new table type by looking for the word CAP next to the table name in the poker lobby. The CAP amount will also be displayed alongside it.

While CAP tables are destined to bring more and more players to the online poker site's cash tables, Americas Cardroom has also seen a significant spike in its tournament traffic. On Sunday, Americas Cardroom handed out 14 packages worth $5,000 apiece to the Punta Cana Poker Classic. The online poker site had originally guaranteed 12 packages, but the tournament ended up attracting a lot more players than expected, pushing up the total number of packages to 14.

Players who missed winning a package on Sunday can play in this weekend's 4-package Guarantee on Sunday at 7:30pm ET. The tournament costs just $250+15 to get into and players can win their way to the even through a low buy-in satellite.
