With starting quarterback Drew Brees agreeing to a $100 million contract, the sky is the limit for the New Orleans Saints and their 2012 odds have improved dramatically – or at least remain intact, not to mention their 2013 odds to win the NFC South and the Super Bowl.

All odds courtesy of Bookmaker.eu, which has been serving the North American sports betting market since 1985 and currently accepts wagers from around the world online.  Qualified customers receive up to US$500 when they open an online betting account here today.  Largest limits, fastest payouts.  Join online or you can open an account over the telephone if you live in North America - 1-866-9-BOOKMAKER (1-866-926-6562) (often the recommended method).

Gambling911.com has already determined that, from a scheduling standpoint, the Saints should win 10 or more games as a strong -140 favorite to do so and do have the slightest edge over Atlanta in this area.

New Orleans really is all about Drew Brees.  One of the league’s elite quarterbacks, Brees set the all-time record for passing yards in a season breaking Dan Marino’s old record of 5,084 yards with 5,476 yards.

Certainly Brees cannot do it all alone, but he’s got plenty of supporting talent including the likes of Jimmy Graham, Darren Sproles and Marques Colston, just to name a few.

Personnel is always vital when evaluating a team’s potential and there is little doubt the Saints have been hit hard due to allegations of a “bounty” program that resulted in a season long suspension of head coach Sean Payton.

Additionally, defensive end Will Smith will be suspended for 4 games and linebacker Jonathan Vilma is out for the entire regular season.  The defense is likely to take a hit for certain.

How all of this ultimately affects New Orleans, if at all, remains to be seen.   Certainly little positive can come out of all of this.
