Germany v Greece odds for their Friday Euro 2012 match were available at Bookmaker here

Germany was a huge favorite at 1/3 odds.  Greece would pay around US$90 for every US$10 bet (subject to change throughout the day so lock in these odds).  The Draw was coming in at 4/1.

Only 59 percent of the betting public was backing Germany here.  Gambling911.com would have thought more like 85 percent.

Greece has value only because of the long odds, otherwise it is really difficult to believe they can pull off the win based on past history.

Greece have met Germany eight times before this meeting, but are yet to win (D3 L5).

Their last meeting came back in March 2001, when Germany defeated the Greeks 4-2 in a World Cup qualifier.

Germany have won their last 14 competitive games – an all-time record in DFB history.

Germany won all three of their group matches. Only two of the eight teams to previously win all of their Euro group games have gone onto win the tournament (France 84 & Spain 08).

Germany have scored in each of their last 19 games, their longest run since 1989-1991 (20 games).

None of Greece's last 10 goals at European Championship finals have arrived before the 42nd minute.

Greece have attempted only 17 shots (excl. blocked) in their three games at Euro 2012 so far, one every 16 minutes on average and the fewest of all sides to have qualified for the knockout stages.
