Don’t look now but Tiger Woods was second on the leaderboard with US Open 2012 odds adjusted accordingly at Sportsbook, and that can mean only one thing, Woods has become a pretty significant favorite.

Still, he would pay out $16 for every $10 bet

Woods was just three shots back behind Michael Thompson, who is listed with 10/1 or +1000 odds as part of the “Field” option.

"I'm very pleased," Woods said after his one-under-par 69 left him in a five-way tie for second behind Thompson. "This is the way that I know I can hit the ball and the way I have been hitting the golf ball."

His performance is sure to draw additional interest in this US Open in terms of both viewership and wagering.
