As of June 1, popular online poker site, Cake Poker is increasing the size and frequency of its Guaranteed Poker Tournaments within an entirely new tournament line-up. To mark this occasion, Cake Poker is featuring two special tournaments on June 3rd – a $100,000 Guarantee and a $75,000 Guaranteed Super Stack. Additionally in June, Cake Poker has increased their first deposit bonus and is launching a $30,000 Gold Champs 2012 Tournament Series which mirrors the Euro 2012 football events.
To celebrate the new tournament schedule that includes the addition of bigger and more numerous guaranteed events, Cake Poker is running two special guaranteed tournaments on Sunday, June 3rd. This Sunday players will have the opportunity to play in a $100,000 GTD at 20:00 GMT (13:00 PT) and a $75,000 GTD Super Stack starting an hour later at 21:00 GMT (14:00 PT). Buy-ins will be $100+$9 and $500+$30 respectively. Following that, future Sundays will see prize pools of $75,000 and $50,000, with the second tournament remaining a Super Stack. Buy-ins will remain the same.
Effective June 1st as well, Cake Poker is making a substantial increase to their welcome package. Players making their first deposit to Cake Poker will receive a 200% bonus to a maximum of $2,000 (previously 110% with a $600 max).
With Euro 2012 football events running June 8th – July 1st, Cake Poker is setting up mirror poker tournaments for football fans. Gold Champs 2012, a $30,000 Gold Card tournament series, lets players use Gold Cards of all suits from two up to get seats in one of four Group Finals through daily satellites. Each group final offers a $5,000 cash prize pool and also advances the top 50 players into the $10,000 Gold Champ Final.
