Gambling911.com’s own Thomas Somach was interviewed for some background information related to Georgia Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers, who was once known as Will “The Winner” Rogers, a sports handicapper.

He appeared on sports handicapping shows that promoted pay-per-call 900 picks for upcoming sporting events.

Rogers says he was only an actor playing a role and had nothing to do with the gambling industry.

FOX 5 Senior I-Team reporter Dale Russell spent the past two weeks looking into the story and sat down with Senator Rogers on Friday.

Sports handicapper turned politician?  Sound familiar?

Wayne Allyn Root is a former sports handicapper who was the Vice Presidential candidate on the 2008 Libertarian party ticket.
