The favorite at 4/1 was Ryan Briscoe. A total of six other drivers were listed with single digit odds including Dario Franchitti at +750 or 7.5/1, Scott Dixon at 9/1, Helio Castroneves at 5/1, Will power at 5/1, Marco Andretti at +550 and James Hinchcliffe at 8/1.
“I think we’re going to see the best race we’ve had in at least a decade,’’ said Roger Penske, winner of 15 Indy 500s and the team owner of pole-sitter Ryan Briscoe.
