Bayern Munich was listed around 3/4 or 4/5 odds.  The Draw was coming in around 3/1.  Chelsea was at 7/2.

55 percent of those betting this year’s Champions League were backing the underdog Chelsea while another 40 percent were on Bayern Munich.

Here are some important stats to consider before betting on this game.

Bayern have won seven consecutive home matches en route to the final.

These two sides last met in 2005.  Chelsea won 6-5 on aggregate. Playing in that game were Petr Cech, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.

Bayern have won one and lost two of three previous finals against English clubs.

This is the sixth European Cup final between German and English teams - only once previously did the Bundesliga side prevail

Bayern have won 13 of their last 14 European home games.  Chelsea have won once away in this season's campaign

Chelsea's only previous final appearance came in 2008 in Moscow when they lost on penalties to Manchester United.

Gary Cahill and David Luiz are expected to play on Saturday.
